I lived as a nomad for quite some time. I think it was close to 10 years of that life before I decided to settle down. It was fun when it happened, and it felt like the right thing once I was done. I’m now going to do something that I don’t do very often. I will talk about something that was before and that isn’t any more.
More specifically, I will talk about the warehouse in Los Angeles in which I worked for a while. Before going out west, I did the same work on several other places in the country. I’m now going to focus on the perks of working in a warehouse in Los Angeles as apart from somewhere else. Some things will be general and some things will focus on my specific time in a Los Angeles warehouse.
First of all, I have to say that LA is the best city in the world. I’ve loved it since the first time I came there with my family in 1998. I’ve always wanted to move out west at some point. During my nomad days, I decided to do it. I moved to Los Angeles, the wonderful city, to work in a warehouse. Not that I expected to work in a warehouse when I moved to Los Angeles. I expected, like everyone else, to become a famous movie star when I finally did. Well, that never really happened of course, and that’s fine.
Another thing that was great with working in a warehouse in Los Angeles was the co-worker situation. We were a lot of people, approximately the same age, doing the same kind of life at the same time. This was very good for making new friends in a new city. Warehouse in Los Angeles was less intimidating thanks to the wonderful friends I found there.
Well, I can’t talk about my days at the warehouse in Los Angeles without talking about the food. In LA, they have some of the best Mexican food in the whole country. I mean, I haven’t tried it in every other city of course, but I doubt that it could be much better than that. When I worked in the Los Angeles warehouse, we had Mexican food almost every day after work. Who could blame us?
I have to run now, but I’d be happy to get back to you about this topic soon again. Do you want to know more about my Los Angeles warehousing days?
